Thread Ring  by TOGU

Thread Ring is a measuring instrument used to check the size and accuracy of the external threads of workpieces such as bolts and screws. Thread Ring  are commonly used in the manufacturing industry to check the quality of threaded parts

Type

1. Go/No-Go : It consists of two parts: a Go side and a No-Go side.
   Go side Used to check that the workpiece has an acceptable thread size. This side should fit snugly against the threads of the workpiece.
   No-Go side: used to check that the workpiece does not have a thread size that is outside of acceptable limits. This side should not fit snugly against the threads of the workpiece.
2. Taper : Used for inspecting tapered threads, such as pipe threads that require tight connections.

Usage

Checking the external thread size: Used to confirm that workpieces with external threads are of the correct size according to standards. By inserting a thread gauge into the threads of the workpiece.
Quality control: Used to inspect manufactured parts. To ensure that the threads are of the required size and accuracy.
