Taper gauge is used to check taper. and the reference diameter of products with holes or tapered holes. This is a manual measurement system. It consists of a set of gauges installed together, including a simple tapered plug gauge. and ordinary tapered ring gauge

• The depth of the taper to be evaluated can be measured by the depth of the reference face fitted to the gauge.
• The proper tolerance depth is usually indicated by a notch or by drawing a line on the larger end of a tapered plug gauge.
