BARCOR Electronic Chamfer Gage is a precision measuring instrument specifically designed to measure the top diameter of chamfers. Counter sink center drill bit or taper holes, simply push the Electronic Chamfer Gage’s spring-loaded Gaging Plunger into the workpiece being measured and read the dimensions directly to .0002″ or .005 mm with the SAME gauge or simply press a button. Switch to comparison mode from a known standard.

Like BARCOR’s well-known machines, the Electronic Chamfer Gage does not require a Setting Master (standard) or a lookup chart. To “zero” or “set” the gage, simply press the base against any flat surface and press the button. “On” with a long-lasting battery The gauge may be continuously powered through a 110 VAC battery adapter/charger or directly from a printer, PC, data collector, etc.

Over 320 standard BARCOR Electronic Chamfer Gage models are available in two angle ranges of 0-90° and 90-127° for both internal and external chamfering. The standard electronic Chamfer Gage comes with a Gaging Plunger made of hardened tool steel. There’s also an optional carbide piston with a lifetime wear guarantee.

Similar to BARCOR’s popular Mechanical Chamfer Gage, BARCOR’S Electronic Chamfer Gage is self-contained and fully portable. With no coupling unit, attachments, cables or external power required, the Electronic Chamfer Gage has a special indicator designed specifically for chamfer measurement. Based on the shape of the Gaging Plunger, the indicator’s special 360-degree rotating bezel allows the user to read any position. There is also a feature “Inch/Metric” and “Hold” controls and a large, high-contrast, easy-to-read LCD digital display for error-free readings.
