The gauge’s tripod base sits securely on any surface, flat or curved. Zero is set at the point immediately following the point to be measured. The contact tip is then moved onto the holder or weld. Therefore, the effect of curvature is neutralized. Comes with instructions in a custom-fit foam-lined storage box from stock.
